We came, we saw, we smoked. This is our archive of exclusive gatherings where teamwork met the pit. In these cities, Nick and Harry led teams through explosive growth sessions, life-clarity workshops, and the ultimate BBQ mash-up.

And the winners are…
Municipal Heat! It was a tough fought battle in the City of Brownsville, Texas for the first ever event here.
It’s such an honor to work with dedicated professionals like those in Brownsville. It was a close battle between first and second place in our largest event to date.
Tomorrow we will continue the exploration and fun as we engage in unique experiences and activities that help to tie together the day one competition with hands-on lessons about teamwork, leadership and life.
These events are about building the culture we want, with the people ready to lead into the future!Day 1 breaks down personal walls and creates engagement using food, teamwork, and laughter. Day 2 leans into the openness, and drives home innovation, collaboration, and leadership.”
Another attendee said "The team-building day offered so many nuggets of insight—like understanding the ‘why’ behind what we do in local government, recognizing when change is needed and how to support it, and appreciating that people have different expectations of what ‘thorough communication’ means."
Couldn’t have said it better myself as that’s what we are after—nothing short of personal and professional transformations!

Beyond The Smoke - SOUTHERN PINES was another amazing event and we were blessed to be featured in the local paper as team building and leadership development done RIGHT! Not every interaction with the local paper needs to be a gut punch, and the editor was one of our celebrity judges for the event. He was a tough critic for the food—but not the event!
We were honored to bring our unique event to the Town of Southern Pines, NC and look forward to seeing their relationships and results grow as a result.Day 1 breaks down personal walls and creates engagement using food, teamwork, and laughter. BEYOND THE SMOKE ALLEN TX is in the books for Year 3! These events are always inspiring to me and we had all new, transformative lessons and experiences over the two days. To quote one of the attendees: “The Beyond The Smoke event facilitated by Nick Kittle and Harry Soo remains the most impactful two day training on team building and professional development I've been a part of.
Day 1 breaks down personal walls and creates engagement using food, teamwork, and laughter. Day 2 leans into the openness, and drives home innovation, collaboration, and leadership.”

We were honored to join Royal Oak, Michigan to support them as they grow and build their positive culture, teamwork, and leadership development. Our unique, one-of-a-kind events are designed as experiences to challenge and help teams grow, and there was plenty of growth today in Royal Oak. Cheers to the leaders who “get it.”

Our Beyond the Smoke event at the Town of Hilton Head Island was a wild time! Harry and Nick had so much fun working with this amazing group over two days. The teams managed two pop-up challenges and rose to the occasion. It was the closest scoring event yet with only 1/2 a point separating 1st and 2nd place on the first day! By day two, we built on the teamwork lessons from day one, expanded our leadership skills and awareness of ourselves, and also shared our best 1-minute life advice. These events aren’t just about barbecue. They’re about all of you.

Nick and Harry were in The Queen City. This personalized Beyond the Smoke experience was limited, and only open to a handful of local players. It was our most exclusive event yet!
